ThermoTextile's product, is an innovative formulation based on nano-encapsulated phase change materials (PCMs), which have been developed for a wide range of applications including apparel, bed linen, medical textile as well as military applications. ThermoTextile PCMs can be applied directly into the fibers or can be coated onto the fabric’s surfaces. Both formulation and application methods can be specifically tuned based on the final application. In contrast to several other thermoregulating products for which the breathability has been sacrificed due to the imparted thermo-regulative properties, ThermoTextile has simultaneously achieved breathability along with a fast-response thermo-regulation property. In addition, the odor formation in the final textile product has been greatly reduced which can lead to decrease the number of washing cycles, thereby prolonging and preserving of the applied ThermoTextile PCMs.
